Bill McClure is the CEO of WJM Investments. He is an entrepreneur and professional domain investor who purchased his first domain investment in March 1996, acquiring FlowersDirect.com. McClure and his family have acquired over 3,000 top-level domains and websites.
McClure was founder and managing partner of the investment-banking firm Amerimark Capital while living in Dallas, Texas, in 1987. In the early 1990s, he acquired several companies including UAF, FlowersDirect.com and eFlowers.com, and sold them in 2002. In 2000, McClure and his son and friend founded Traffic Strategies.com, building and selling the business with its 40 domains to Japan’s Rakuten.com and Linkshare.com in 2007 for over $7,000,000.
