T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Keynote Speaker Covers All The Bases In The Online Field Of Dreams
Bill Karamouzis is an entrepreneur and online media specialist. He drives organizational growth and ensures those businesses capture clients and revenue on national and international scales. Having expertise in operations leadership, strategic planning, product development and partner alliances, Karamouzis conceptualized and launched what became one of the largest media entertainment networks in Canada.
As founder and CEO of FPS Networks, Karamouzis developed popular gaming websites www.flashplayer.com and www.addictinggames.com. In2005 Karamouzis successfully negotiated the sale of these two distinct business units to media conglomerates Viacom (Atom Entertainment) and Hearst (UGO Entertainment). These sales were substantial enough to require approval under the Investment Canada Act and Karamouzis was one of the largest shareholders of Atom Entertainment when it was acquired by Viacom for 200 million dollars August 2006.
In 2008 Karamouzis launched an entirely new business unit - Hallpass Media, a collection of gaming websites. The successful launch and rapid growth of Hallpass Media resulted in a third successful business sale. April 2011 Hallpass Media was acquired by MindJolt, a company founded by Chris DeWolfe founder and former CEO of MySpace. This highly-publicized sale received press coverage in the New York Times,All Things D, Tech Crunch, Venture Beat and many other business publications.
Karamouzis has completed his MBA from Queens University in Kingston,Ontario and continues to invest in premium generic domain names as well as consults media and gaming executives on building traffic and monetizing websites.
