Las Vegas 2007 Schedule
T.R.A.F.F.I.C. WEST 2007 will be held at the largest hotel in the entire world. The Venetian Hotel and Resort in Las Vegas from March 5-8 2007. This will be the 3rd show at this wonderful property and 7th overall in the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. series.
What started as a small get together of domainers has evolved into the the epicenter of commerce for domain names, web traffic, registrars, PPC companies, search engines, CPA, Affiliate marketing, advertising and investment. The Domain industry's premier event.
Schedule and speakers will be filled in as developed.

We are in a fast moving business. What is important now may not be important in March. Having the ability to keep up with changes in business is perhaps our single biggest strength. What we do know is we will bring the biggest and the best together once again and the show is sponsored by the top businesses on the net. Together with our partners, we promise a show that continues to be bigger, better and more important than the last. Built around networking with the key people that can affect our futures in a very positive way.
We thank you for your past attendance and are anxious to see our friends in Las Vegas for another great event. Plus don't forget about our live domain auction. The world's largest live domain auction back again for a 4th time. Don't let a premier domain get away. At TRAFFIC EAST in October 2006 $5.3 million in domain names changed hands in just 4 hours. That broke TRAFFIC's own record of $2.1 million at the last auction. Leading the way was Camera.com selling for $1.5 million followed by an army of 5 and 6 figure sales.
The schedule will be updated once or more weekly until the show: All times and seminars are tentative. Final schedule to be posted on February 28th. Register early as EVERY show has been sold out weeks before the actual event and there is NO onsite registration. We feed you breakfast, lunch and dinner each full day and have it framed with several cocktail parties. All first class food and drink so come hungry. Break bread with folks you can do business with.
The key to the success of TRAFFIC is bringing the biggest and the best together. The quality of the folks that attend are beyond question. That puts the decision maker right there in the middle of a place where his/her decision making abilities get to be recognized and engaged over and over again. The ability to do years worth of business in just a few days. TRAFFIC has created an atmosphere of growth and terrific deal making potential. TRAFFIC is clearly more than a tradeshow or conference. As an event that is by invitation only, TRAFFIC sets a standard that can not be matched. We know when we ask you to leave the comfort of your homes and your family it better be worth your time and money. That is why TRAFFIC has become such an important part of doing business for those that own domains, buy and sell traffic, have ppc companies, search related companies investors and all the way down to the store on Main Street. TRAFFIC brings the biggest and the best together. It's just that simple. We keep the noise out and the business in.
To sum it all up......TRAFFIC's greatness is in bringing key people together. It is exclusive no doubt. It isn't open to everyone, nor cheap, as in order to create the level of attendees we have created we must decline some "noise" and we must charge more then what a casual domainer would feel comfortable paying. TRAFFIC isn't for the average domainer, it's for real professionals, highest integrity and business ethics - the best of the best,. It's a total TREAT for those serious about domains, traffic and bringing us all to the next level.

1:30PM Madison Ave. Round #2. As the prelude to the New York Show, this panel will continue the groundwork as we continue our march to the Big Apple. Where does Madison Avenue fit into this equation and where do domain names fit into Madison Avenue? Why are they an important piece of the puzzle? Why will this seminar help set the direction for future TRAFFIC shows?
First we need to lay some numbers and facts on the line. It may be important to have Madison Ave realize that as much as 15% of the eyeballs on the net are provided by folks typing in a domain name directly into the browser bar. That includes generics and does not include typing a brand into the browser bar and directly navigating to the website. If you want to go to Hyatt, the chances are you would not go to google searching for Hyatt, chances are you would type hyatt.com directly into the browser. The one misconception many folks may not understand is that if you type in a generic domain name that you can be devilvered directly to the brand. If Hyatt had bought the domain hotels.com a few years back they would have had the power to have the surfer type in hotels.com and end up directly on the Hyatt.com site. Enabling Hyatt to get first shot at selling a hotel room over their competition. While that option is no longer available to Hyatt and for that matter anyone in the hotel industry, you would have to question why hotels of all sorts missed that opportunity. That same scenario is playing out in industry after industry. Where the keyword domain is still floating around and the companies with the most to gain are repeating what the hotel industry did and now instead of owning the keyword and the FREE and PERPETUAL business that comes with it in the form of thousands of people typing it into the browser bar each and every day, they are forced to compete with all other hotels at lower room prices and have to pay a commission for the lead to the tune of many millions over the years. So both groups have to see some of the common benefits they share and build out from there. .
A Dialog With Madison Avenue
Until recently, the domain industry and Madison Avenue have rarely walked in each other’s shoes. Has the time finally come when pay per click advertising and corporate branding firms are intersecting with domainers on a regular basis? This interactive panel discussion explores how the two sides can understand each other’s business goals, and where the “domain gap” occurs at some agencies and corporations. Listen in and ask questions as the top brass from some of the nation’s largest ad agencies weigh in on the strategies behind their pay per click advertising and domain acquisitions. The Miami panel is considered the best seminar ever held at TRAFFIC. It was contentious, confrontational and constructive. 4 months later, let's see what we have all learned and see if the gap is narrowing..
